MAXIMUM SAFETY

The Imetec heated throw fulfils the strictest international standards regarding safety with the Electro Block® total safety device.

Electro Block® controls the temperature and, in case of faults, it immediately switches off the product. If you fall asleep on the sofa, no problem. The Imetec heated throw switches off automatically after 1, 3 or 9 hours.

WASHABLE

The Imetec heated throw is hand washable and machine washable at 40 °C, just like a regular blanket. Simply detach the control and follow the instructions provided on the fabric’s label.

What is an heated throw?: It is a soft heated blanket with adjustable temperature based on your preferences, from the supplied control. It is powered with voltage and can be used in any room in the house.
Does it switch off on its own?: The heated throw has a switch-off timer that can be set up to 1-3-9 hours after switching it on.
Is it safe to use?: The Imetec electric throw meets the most stringent international safety regulations. It features Electro Block®, the safety system built into the heating element which, in case of a failure, promptly switches off the product.
Is it washable?: The Imetec heated blanket can be hand or machine washed at maximum 40°C and using a neutral detergent.
Can it also be used when switched off?: The heated throw can also be used when it is not plugged in, even though it will not warm up.
How much power do they consume?: Daily use of the Imetec electric throw is very affordable: relaxing on the sofa costs just 3 euro cents*. * The cost of 0.03€ was calculated by considering consumption in KWh/a per day (data provided by Eurostat European Union 27 countries, not including taxes, DC consumption class: 2,500 kWh < Annual consumption < 5,000 kWh, 1st semester 2012). This calculation considers using the blanket for 8 hours at the maximum temperature recommended for continuous use + 30 minutes pre-heating.
Can it also be used in bed?: The throw can also be used in bed like an electric blanket.
How long is the power cord?: The power cord is 3.6 metres long.
Can it also be used outdoors?: The Imetec heated throw can be conveniently used on the balcony or terrace, under a portico or in the garden, taking care not to expose it to extreme temperatures, to harsh weather conditions or humidity. After use, place the throw indoors.
